Russian Hussars - Irkhutsk

This is my second regiment of russian hussars, the first one I painted as the Akhtyrsk, and for this second unit I chose another regiment of spectacular colors, the Irkhutsk. I have another 3 boxes of this superb set by Zvezda, so one of them will be Guard, the other 2 I'm still thinking about. One of them is probably going to be the Isoum, as I quite like their all-grey look.

I wasn't able to find a single visual reference of colors for the pennants on their lances, so I indulged in some artistic license here and went with raspberry + yellow.

Russian Cuirassiers - Astrakhan

Austrian Chevau-legers - Regiment Baron Vincent

Another unit of austrian cavalry finished, this time the 4th Chevau-Legers, the Regiment Baron Vincent.

Austrian Dragoons - Regiment Ferdinand

I've been absent from the blog for a while, but that's not because of lack of painting. I've actually been out of supplies for the bases - specifically, the mdf bases.

Because of that, there are a few units I have finished during these last few weeks that only now have been properly finished, and here is the first of them, my second regiment of Austrian Dragoons, the regiment Ferdinand, with their green facings.
