Yes we Game!

A couple months ago I was looking for a gaming club on my city where I could get together with like minded folks. Turned out I live few hundred yards from the biggest wargaming club in Brazil (!), the "Tropas Polares" (Polar Troops).

Looking around the web, one may think wargaming is restrict to USA and UK, but that's not true. Particularly in my country, wargamig is growing, and growing fast.

Last Saturday, we had a Flames of War (FOW) tournament. For those who don't know, it's a 28mm (I believe) World War II miniature game. I didn't play, for I don't know the rules yet, but guys there had a lot of fun, and I thought I'd post some pictures of the tables.

I'm still working on those Centauri. The wash I did looks awful, and I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do to fix it...

  1. Glad you found a gaming club so close. I have to drive 35-40 miles to the game store where our group meets (and I haven't been there in quite a while).

Regarding scale for Flames of War, it's 15mm, not 28mm.

  2. Oh, right! 40K is 28mm...

Yeah, it's really great to have a group so near to my home. I could even go there on foot if I wasn't so lazy...
