French Old Guard Complete

As I mentioned on my previous post, a couple weeks ago I painted the one base I still needed to complete my Old Guard. 

The problem was that the Zvezda kit didn't have enough models for me to come up with 6 bases, which is going to be my standard to represent a Large unit in Black Powder. So I had to order another one, and the completion of this unit lost its place on my schedule of paint priorities.

But as I came closer to getting my french army in shape for its first battle, it became important to also finish this legendary unit, and so I finnally took the time to do so. 

So here they are, the Old Guards:

I also came up with 4 skirmish bases for them, in case I need to represent the unit in mixed formation:

Over the next weeks I'll post some pics on the french army so far, which is far larger than the first time I displayed it for some army shots.
