Austrian Cavalry Artillery

Here is my unit of cavalry artillery for the austrians. These are all Hat Industries' models, but from a couple kits. The guns and carriage are one, the crew is from another (the same I use for my foot batteries).

The cavalry artillery kit comes with 3 carriages, but I'll be using a single one per battery, to save space on the table. This leaves me with another 2 carriages to "convert" my foot batteries into cavalry ones when required, even though the guns there are not exactly accurate for the cavalry artillery.

All 3 guns come with removable seats, and because the detail underneath is so nice, with the ammunition and powder cartridges exposed, I chose to leave 2 of them open, putting the seats on the bases of the carriages, instead.

  2. Great work on these odd but iconic Austrian guns. The extra limbers and teams should come in handy for your foot batteries!
