Mordian Army

I purchased this mordian army a while ago, but had been lacking the spirit to sit down and get them painted. I even considered selling them a few weeks back, but those are the models I like the most from GW Imperial Guard, so I thought "heck, if I stop being so lazy, I can finish them up in a week". So I finnaly brought myself to painting them.

It didn't take a week, though. It took almost 3 weeks actually, between painting them and making the river sections I showed on the previous post. But mission accomplished, they are done, ready to finally hit the battle board!

In total, there are 2 10-men units, 6 extra special weapons troopers, 3 heavy weapon teams and a Commander. Enough to field a couple different configurations on a small game.

  1. When I read the title I thought it will be a LotR post, and I'm really surprised with your collection.
Fantastic paintjob, good colour scheme, really trim.

I love the bases, fantastic, simple techniques but good results.

I like the red line in the troursers, amazing!

Making a napoleonic style IG army could be a good proyect in a not too far future...

  2. Very nice group of Mordians. I like how you contrasted the dress uniforms with simple basic weaponry. No doubt the weapons are well maintained! ;)
