British Light Infantry and Skirmishers

Here is the beginning of my British Infantry. This is a Hat Light Infantry unit. There are enough models in the kit to come up with one of my 32-man regiments and spares to make eight 2-man skirmish bases.

The 8 bases we see here are going to be my standard to represent an entire regiment in skirmish order. Even though these bases contain half the number of models of my regiment units, I think this is reasonable enough, as I feel more bases would make skirmish units occupy too much table space.

The skirmish bases, when formed up may be used to represent Small Units (Stamina 2) in Black Powder. I may reduce the unit to 4 bases, to represent Tiny Units (Stamina 1).

For mixed formations, I'm going to be using 3 skirmish bases in front of the regiment. If the regiment is Large (Stamina 4) I'll be using 4 or 5 skirmish bases in front of it.

Next up, the British Rifles!
