Portuguese Line Infantry

Here are my Portuguese Line Infantry. 2 regiments, from the new Emhar kits, just as my Caçadores, which I showed here last week.

These are the most models I ever painted at once with my "assembly line" technique. 64 in total. Very tiring and boring at times, but effective. I managed to paint them all in less than 2 weeks, which is pretty good.

Portuguese Caçadores

First unit of Portuguese for my british army ready to go. This is going to be a small unit in Black Powder, with Stamina 2.

I also did several skirmish bases. Those will be useful to represent the unit in mixed or skirmish formation, or even to represent skirmishers on a Line Regiment, where we can assume there are some companies of caçadores included, and the task of making a screening line in front of the rest of the regiment would fall to them most likely.

Those are the new models, from Emhar, and I quite like these. Good selection of poses, and perfectly good sculpts.

1/72 Church for my Napoleonic games

Here is another addition to my growing collection of 1/72 Napoleonic scenery. This is an Italeri kit, and, as usual for this company, the quality of the kit is amazing, and the price is very good as well (I believe I paid less than US$20.00 for this on Ebay).

I'm currently finishing my first unit of portuguese. Next, I have another couple units of portuguese line infantry, and a couple british line infantry, then my British Peninsular army will be good to go.
