Death Korps of Krieg

I recently added more stuff to my army of Space Nazis. These are Forgeworld Death Korps of Krieg. Their visual is quite distinct from the Eisenkern, which make up the bulk of my forces, but this is completely fine since, in my fluff, the Nazi Empire of the 4º Reich spans over many worlds, and each of them might have their own unique uniforms.

I very much like the WWI look of these models, and will be adding their artillery units to my army as well.

Imperial Shrine of the Aquila

As I was painting my french carabiniers last week, I took some time to also work on the newest acquisition for our Club, the GW Imperial Shrine of the Aquila.

I added the base, made of thick cardboard, carved the stones on the sidewalk and added some texture on the inside to represent debris. Some algae was also included to help boost the "long-forsaken" visual I was after here.

As we can attest, Mankind's faith in the Emperor keeps the lights burning, despite the poor condition of these ancient ruins...

This is a very tall building, and here we can have an idea by looking at that Imperial Officer nearby (28mm).

He's probably assessing the viability of using this position to accomodate some troops for an upcoming battle. His countenance doesn't transpire much satisfaction, though...

Army of Imperial Fists

I've had this army painted for quite a while, now, but never took the time to show it up here. I'm even considering selling it as part of my 40k-cutback policy.

The Dreadnought is magnetized, as I usually do, so both arms have multiple weapon choices.

The army includes many HQ's, such as the Masters of the Chapter, a Lybrarian, Lysander and a converted Chapter Master.

The Stormtalon is also magnetized, so all weapon options are available for it.

Anyway, this is such a beautiful army, I'm probably going to keep it, but hobby space is really becoming an issue for me, given the amount of miniatures I already have, and my project of collecting several napoleonic armies. I'm definitely going to need more shelves very soon...
