French Artillery - Zvezda set

Here is my other battery for the french army, this time the Zvezda kit. There are so many models in this set to man the guns that I could afford using 4 per gun while still having some extra to complete the italeri battery, which showed here on the previous post.

The ammunition carriage comes with the option of 6 horses, but I chose to use only 4, or else it would be too long, difficult to move around and place on the game table. This way, I keep it's length equal to the rest of my carriages, which are exactly as long as a battery of 3 guns. This is intentional, so I can arrange the carriage perfectly at the back of the battery.

Italeri French Artillery

I'm expanding my french artillery with 2 additional batteries. One of them is the Italeri kit, featured here. There are so little crew to handle the guns in that box - five models only - that I had to get some from the Zvezda kit to help serve the cannons. I also added a model from the Italeri command kit, an officer in chasseur uniform, which is pretty identical to the uniform used by the crew of the italeri set.

Gallic Roundhouses

I recently bought 3 celtic roundhouses from newline designs, to add some scenery to my games of Hail Caesar. I'm probably going to get a couple more, to make them better represent a small village. Quite nice sculpts, very easy to paint with drybrush.

Celt Infantry - First Units

Here are the first couple units of infantry for my gallic army. Those are a mix of Italeri Gauls and Italeri Barbarians kits, for I wanted a lot of diversity of poses and dressing, to make their ranks rather diverse, as suits a barbarian host.

I'll probably be fielding most of the barbarian units as medium units, with 4 bases, as shown above, but I can also choose to field them as large units, with 6 bases, just as my large units in Black Powder, and they would look like this:
