Deadzone Enforcers

My Painted Enforcers for Deadzone:

I got two Captains, and wanted each to be unique, so I used different skin tones, cape colors and basings. I also positoned each head looking at a diferent direction. The arms are magnetized, allowing change in positioning as well as arms exchange with the other weapon options that are going to be available with the soon-to-come plastic Peacekeepers.

I'm pleased with the result. They look sufficiently unique now. Now I'm wondering that the different cape colors might even indicate rank/seniority (!).

I also modified one of the engineers a bit, so both wouldn't look identical. Did the same with the missile launcher guys.

More vehicles from Antenociti's

So recently I painted another 2 tanks from Antenociti's Workshop. They are Hunchback APC's.

I planned on using them as transports for my Enforcers, but in person they look a bit on the small side to fit more than a couple of these dudes inside, so I guess I'll have to find some other use for them.

The models are fantastic, though. Great designs, nicely cast.

This vehicle comes with three weapon options: a twin-linked anti-infantry gun, with some small launchers attached, a twin-linked missile launcher and a misslie launcher combined with a main gun which is probably on the light-tank-killer end of the spectrum.

Anyway, fun models to paint, a couple more vehicles for my ongoing Warpath armies and more stuff out of my painting desk.

Enforcer Captain

My Enforcer Captain in Peacekeeper armor is painted and ready to smash some skulls. The Peacekeeper armor is the Warpath equivalent to 40k Terminator Armor.

I quite like its looks, very sci-fi, opposed to the medieval look that is 40k signature (which I like a lot, too).

Here is a pic of the Captain next to a 40K Terminator, to give a sense of size. As you can see, the Enforcer is a true scale super soldier in special armour, the size that a 40k Terminator should be...

Warpath Enforcers

Last week, I painted my first Enforcers for the game Warpath, from Mantic. Lately, I`ve been looking for alternatives to GW models, both because I`m becoming weary of heroic scale, with those giant heads and disproportionate limbs, and because I cannot justify to myself paying those prices anymore.

The Enforcers are the Elite troops of the Corporation, a galactic institution that comprises numerous human companies, and that effectively governs the realm of mankind on the Warpath universe.

I joined the Deadzone Kickstarter, mostly to pick more Enforcers to my army, but am also looking forward to the Asterians and Forge Fathers.

Overall, the Warpath universe looks quite interesting and promissing, as Mantic continues to expand it, adding new factions, such as the Asterians, the Plague and the Rebels.
